Try minimizing a function of the error function.
Mostly useful if you already know information about the distribution of points.

There is enough good data to fit, but what is it?
Random sample of minimum required points
Do we always use minimum in practice? Is it always best that way? Why?
Is there not a smarter way to compute inliers? We again need to know something about noise distribution to set the hyperparameter.
Like count total average distance for each point then look at the distribution of distances and cut off based on your expected number of outliers or some feature of the distribution. So we end up with only the N' most "inlier-like" points without having a hyperparameter. Or I guess now "distance function" becomes the hyperparameter.
