Engineering.

Rockets. Active stabilization.

PD for stabilization.

Robotics. Designing robot. Building and software.

Seems fine. Didn't seem entirely happy about doing software engineering stuff mostly, but just interested in doing stuff.

Not a great fit for preexisting skills, but he's just entering undergrad. Didn't ask many questions, but again I don't expect all that much. It isn't a very formal situation so I wouldn't be too worried about whether or not he actually spends time doing the work I want him to.
